I love this little spot on my shelf in the craft room. I got the globe at the flea market for $2 and I found the plastic lion buried in the garden. I love it when I find bits of my childhood out in the dirt (usually it's old Matchbox cars!).

do you still live in your childhood home? that is very unusual... so you're never far from your memories.
Still on the same land... there was a house fire in the house I grew up in and we had to tear it down, but we rebuilt. It took me a while to get over but it's all good now. :)
