Ohmigosh, I saw this picture and first thought it was my pupdog at first! What breed is yours? Mine (Koda) is a mutt, her mother a lab/retriever mix, and we think her dad was an Australian Shepherd. You can see a picture of her here, http://newshadeofgreen.blogspot.com/2008/11/ready-to-compost.html
Not really, but children are sometimes because she is very weary of strangers (which makes us think she's Australian Shepherd) and barks at everyone at first. She is definitely a herd dog and will herd kids, animals, us... which also scares little kids that want to play. She is very loving though, and loves to be pet. I don't think she has a mean bone in her body, but she has a good bark!
It's funny, Bobo used to herd us when he was a pup but he doesn't do it anymore. When I was growing up our neighbors had an Aussie and my brother and I used to run and spread out so she would herd us back together again. It cracked us up!
Hello! Thanks for visiting. I love to sew and knit. I love thrifting and searching for old treasures. I'm trying to be as green as possible and apply it to my daily life. Please leave a comment and say hi! :)

Oh they do look alike! Bo is a mutt too but we figured he's a shepherd mix of some sort.. maybe with a bit of Belgian sheepdog in there somewhere. :)
Are people afraid of her? I think Bo's the cutest dog ever but almost everyone that sees him is terrified of him! It's so weird!
